100年を超える歴史をもち、“きものと日本文化をアップデートし続ける”ことをミッションとする株式会社やまとから生まれた“現代のライフスタイルに溶け込む新しい「きもの文化」を提案する”ブランド「THE YARD」。THE YARDとコラボレーションし、浴衣によく使われる生地を用いた、SIRI SIRI初の試みであるワードローブをリリースします。年を追うごとに太陽が近づき、影が濃くなるように感じる日本の夏。厳しい季節の中でも日本の美意識を感じさせる洗練された装いをお楽しみいただけるシリーズです。

綿織物の産地として名高い遠州（静岡県浜松市）で織られた綿に麻を織り交ぜた生地に「シボ」と呼ばれる凹凸加工を施すことによって肌と布の接触面が少なくなり、風通しがよくさらりと仕上がった「綿麻　手しぼ」を用いています。

ジェンダーレスなクロップ丈のパンツはアンクル丈でモダンに、ジャスト丈でマニッシュに着こなしていただけます。ウエストはひもで調整できるので身体を締めつけることなく、毎日身に着けたくなる着心地を実現しました。

Also, in our first collaboration with THE YARD, a brand that proposes Kimono for contemporary lifestyle created by the company Yamato with a history spanning more than 100 years, we present a series of wardrobe pieces applying the cotton hemp blend teshibo* tanmono**, which is often used for summer kimonos. The sun seems to get closer every year and the shadows thicker during the summertime in Japan. We make a new proposal for our customers to enjoy refined garments that encapsulates the Japanese aesthetic sense even in hot summer days. Ensyu shibo, a tanmono formed by blending cotton and hemp fibers, is woven at Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, a city famous for cotton textiles. By treating the fabric with shibo, a method of creating a bumpy texture on the material, contact between the cloth and skin lessens to make the resulting fabric breathable and light. These modern cropped pants are styled to suit both men and women. They are designed to fit men around ankle length to provide a modern look and women as full-length pants to display a mannish expression. Since the waist can be adjusted with strings, these pants will not tire the body and are sure to feel comfortable with every wear.
*teshibo - a crepe making process involving the rubbing of cloth on a washboard to make it rough
**tanmono - a traditional roll of cloth developed exclusively for making a kimono
